A man was shot and seriously wounded Thursday evening in the Washington Park neighborhood on the South Side.
The 28-year-old was shot in the abdomen about 7:05 p.m. in the 5100 block of South Calumet, according to Chicago Police.
He was taken in serious condition to Stroger Hospital, police said.
