Police are searching for a Gary man who has been charged with armed robbery and criminal confinement in northwest Indiana.

John Fitzgerald Johnson Jr. was charged with two counts of armed robbery and two counts of criminal confinement, according to a statement from Gary police.

On April 14, he and another male robbed and confined two people who had traveled to the 300 block of Clark Road to buy a television that they had seen for sale on Craiglist, police said. He also faces charges for prior incidents, including attempted murder, criminal recklessness and multiple counts of armed robbery.

He is still at-large and considered armed and dangerous, police said.
