Man shot in Heart of Chicago

A man was shot Saturday afternoon in the Heart of Chicago neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

About 3:55 p.m., the 19-year-old man was found lying on the ground in the 2200 block of West 21st Street, police said.

He had been shot in the head and was taken in critical condition to Stroger Hospital, police said.
