New England Patriots defensive end Robert Ninkovich is a Chicago native, growing up in New Lenox and playing football at Lincoln-Way Central High School. And after winning Super Bowl XLIX, Ninkovich brought his ring back to his hometown.

From a Bears fan to Patriot fans, I have grown up next door to Robert Ninkovich in a town south of Chicago. Today he came home with his ring and I was so fortunate to have gotten to take a few pictures.

This Bears fan turned into a Patriots fan over night after the New England defensive lineman shared his Super Bowl prized possession with him.
