Man shot in West Pullman

A man was shot Thursday night in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

About 9:20 p.m., the 36-year-old was standing outside in the 12000 block of South Michigan when another male walked up and opened fire, police said.

The man was shot in the lower back and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
