Police officers have a reputation for being humorless but maybe they’ve been judged too harshly.

A few of Chicago’s finest tried out their comic chops over their police radios Tuesday after Chicago Police Supt. Garry McCarthy was fired by Mayor Rahm Emanuel.

They’d better keep their day jobs, but the officers got off a few zingers captured by @CWBChicago.
