Man, teen shot in Palatine

A 17-year-old boy and 35-year-old man were shot Thursday evening in northwest suburban Palatine.

About 7:30 p.m., someone walked up to them near the Baldwin Green apartment complex in the 1900 block of Green Lane and opened fire, according to Palatine police.

They were taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, where they remained under treatment Friday night. Police did not release their conditions.
