In preseason practice, the Sky were practicing their long-range shots, from half court. When the Sky started, they turned it into a half-court shooting contest.

Sky guard Allie Quigley, a Chicago native and DePaul graduate, was the first to successfully make the half-court shot.

Then Courtney Vandersloot hits one.

Then Elena Delle Donne joins the half-court club.

And Betnijah Laney made it a four-way tie.

But the Joliet Catholic graduate Quigley won the sudden death half-court challenge with her next shot.

After the half-court contest, the Sky took practice more seriously before their preseason game against the Los Angeles Sparks.

This is the Sky’s second preseason game after defeating the New York Liberty 83-55 on Friday.
