SHARE Group sues to block closing of Lincoln-Way North High School

A group of residents has filed a lawsuit in Will County to block the closing of Lincoln-Way North School.

Lincoln-Way High School District 210 decided in August to close its North campus in an effort to save money. The district has three other high schools.

“This [decision] happened so fast none of us knew what was happening,” Liz Sands said Wednesday during a news conference. Sands lives in Tinley Park is a founder of Lincoln-Way Area Taxpayers Unite, the group that filed the lawsuit.
