SHARE Throwback Thursday: Michael Jordan makes free throw with eyes closed

Every week, for a really long time, you would be able to share a Throwback Thursday moment of Michael Jordan — arguably the greatest basketball player who ever lived.

Back in 1991, Jordan was en route to 37 points in a November game against the Denver Nuggets when he decided to put to rest some trash talking with rookie Dikembe Mutombo.

Jordan was at the line with seconds to go in what would end up being a 107-100 Bulls win when he said “Hey, Mutombo, this one’s for you.”

He then sank a free throw with his eyes closed.

The Bulls and Jordan went on to win their second-straight championship in the 1991-1992 NBA season — the second title of six that MJ won in his NBA career.
