Derrick Rose made his much-anticipated return to the basketball floor in the Bulls’ preseason finale on Friday.

Rose, still recovering from a left orbital fracture, looked good as he scored eight points in 10 minutes.

But according to Taj Gibson, Rose looked even better during practice on Sunday.

Even though he said Friday he’s still seeing double, Rose is optimistic he’ll be able to play in Chicago’s season opener Tuesday against the Cavaliers.
