A man was shot Saturday afternoon in the South Side West Englewood neighborhood.

The 28-year-old man was walking in the 1400 block of West 72nd Street at 2:07 p.m. when he heard shots and felt pain, police said.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the left arm, and showed up at St. Bernard Hospital where he was listed in good condition, police said.

A police source said the man is a documented gang member.
