A man was shot in the Morgan Park neighborhood on the Far South Side Friday night.
A 66-year-old man was walking on the sidewalk in the 11300 block of South Racine Avenue at 6:10 p.m. when he heard shots and felt pain, police said.
He suffered gunshot wounds to the left leg and left side, and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition, police said.
