Before the Bears enter minicamp, new head coach John Fox is being considered one of the top 10 coaches in the NFL.

Sporting News NFL columnist David Steele ranked Fox 10th among the 32 coaches, and Steele believes Fox will help the ailing Bears to be better record in 2015.

The best head-coaching hire of the offseason, largely because he really didn’t do anything that deserved firing in Denver. It’s an uphill climb to make the Bears the third different team he’s taken to a Super Bowl, but why rule it out? From coaching defense to picking a staff to installing a winning culture, there’s very little to pick at Fox about.

The Bears were 5-11 in 2014 and fired former coach Marc Trestman after just two seasons. Fox lost his job in Denver after advancing to the playoffs four consecutive seasons. Fox knows a thing or two about a winning culture.
