Boy, 16, shot in Roseland

A 16-year-old boy was shot in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side Wednesday evening.

About 6:10 p.m., the teen was shot in the right leg in a possible drive-by in the 10600 block of South State, police said.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition, police said.

After the shooting, a black vehicle was seen fleeing the area, police said.
