A 20-year-old man and a juvenile were charged Thursday in connection with several vehicle burglaries over the past several months in south suburban Lansing.

South Holland police arrested Ryan Mitchell of Calumet City and a juvenile as they were burglarizing vehicles in the area, according to a statement from Lansing police.

Authorities recovered items from several Lancing burglaries that occurred in July, as well as items from numerous other burglaries in neighboring towns, police said.

Police remind residents to lock their vehicles, as all of the burglaries involved vehicles that were unlocked.
