A Broadview woman died following a traffic crash Monday night in west suburban Maywood.

Kahmico Henderson, 27, was driving in the 1400 block of South 17th Avenue about 10:45 p.m. when she lost control of the vehicle and it rolled over, according to Officer Persia Allen, Maywood police spokesman.

She was ejected from the vehicle and later pronounced dead, Allen said.

An autopsy Wednesday did not rule on cause or manner of death, with results pending further studies, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

A 23-year-old woman who was riding in the vehicle at the time survived the crash, Allen said.

The cause of the wreck remains under investigation by Maywood police.
