The White Sox hope newly acquired infielder Brett Lawrie will add some offense to their lineup. He certainly adds some athleticism.

Watch Lawrie show off some serious hops in a video he posted to Instagram Wednesday:

Lawrie has no lack of intensity either – something Sox GM Rick Hahn said he liked about the 25-year-old.

White Sox acquire Brett Lawrie from A’s for two minor leaguersLawrie, a British Columbia, Canada native, is a lifetime .263 batter. He had a career-best 60 RBI and 16 home runs with the A’s last season.
