A man was shot Tuesday evening in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.
The 22-year-old was in the back seat of a vehicle driving in the 4500 block of West Augusta about 7:15 p.m., police said. Someone on a motorcycle drove up from behind and fired shots, striking him in the back.
The man was taken to Rush University Medical Center, where his condition had stabilized.
