Man shot in Burnside

A 38-year-old man was shot early Friday in the Burnside neighborhood on the South Side.

The man was having an argument with someone he knew at a party at 12:49 a.m. in the 9200 block of South Drexel Avenue when that person pulled out a gun and shot him in the chest and back, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition, police said.
