(LISLE) Two Naperville men are charged with reckless driving after allegedly speeding and crashing Wednesday morning in west suburban Lisle.

Mathew P. Rassier, 30, and Damon Gupta, 38, are each charged with one count of reckless driving for the 7:20 a.m. incident in the 1900 block of Maple Avenue, Lisle police said in a statement.

Witnesses told police the two men were each driving eastbound on Maple Avenue at a high rate of speed, Deputy Chief Ron Wilke said. They were allegedly passing each other and changing lanes when one vehicle collided with the other.

Rassier, of the 1500 block of Fordham Court in Naperville, and Gupta, of the 1100 block of Muirhead Avenue in Naperville, both posted bond, police said. They were released from custody pending a court hearing.
