A 19-year-old man was shot and critically wounded in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side early Saturday.

About 4:30 a.m., the man was shot in the neck in the 7400 block of South Champlain, police said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, police said.
