A 15-year-old boy was shot Sunday in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The boy was standing in the 600 block of South California Avenue at 12:02 p.m. when someone exited a car and fired shots, police said.

He was shot once in the hip and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.
