Cubs welcome new royal baby

As the royal baby Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge was named Monday morning, she became an official Chicago Cubs fan, as well.

The Cubs made Princess Charlotte an honorary member of the “Cubs Newborn Fan Club.”

The Newborn Fan Club slogan is:

The Cubs Newborn Cubs Club is the perfect gift to showcase what it means to be a Cub for Life.

Usually, in order to become a member of the Newborn Fan Club, the parent must pay a $45 initiation fee which includes:

A customized photo announcing the birth on the historical landmark of the Wrigley Field Marquee.

An exclusive Cubs birth certificate to hang in the newborn’s nursery.

A Cubs baby stocking cap to help keep our smallest fans warm.

A Cubs “Rookie of the Year” onesie to show off the loyalty around town.

The Cubs probably didn’t make the royal family pay the $45 fee to become a member, but they should have. Because every baby looks cute in Cubs gear.
