Postseason champagne celebrations have a way of getting messy, just usually not for the fans.

Following last night’s NLDS-clinching win over the Cardinals, Cubs ace Jake Arrieta and others showered fans behind the dugout with booze.

Cubs fans have been waiting their entire life for their team to bring a playoff-clinching win to Wrigley Field, so it only seems fair a few got to partake in Tuesday’s celebration.

With the victory, Chicago advanced to the NLCS for the first time since 2003. The Dodgers and Mets are tied in their series at two games a piece, and the winner will move on to a best-of-seven series with the Cubs.
