Two men were shot Tuesday afternoon in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

A 28-year-old and a 22-year-old were walking in the 5600 block of South May Street at 1:20 p.m. when a vehicle pulled up, and two men wearing ski masks got out and shot them, police said.

Both men were taken to Storger Hospital. The 28-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the left leg and was listed in good condition. The younger man was shot in the right leg and his condition was stabilized, police said.

The 59-year-old was found about 7 p.m. in the 6700 block of South Chappel Avenue with a gunshot wound to his abdomen, police said.
Jonathan Vallejo, 38, of River Grove, suffered multiple gunshot wounds in the Friday shooting and was pronounced dead at Lutheran General Hospital, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
