2 shot in Grand Crossing

Two men were wounded in a Grand Crossing neighborhood shooting Saturday afternoon on the South Side.

About 4:45 p.m., they were shot in the 7500 block of South Kenwood Avenue, according to Chicago Police.

One man, 29, was shot in the chest and taken to Stroger Hospital, police said. The other, 20, suffered a gunshot wound to the right leg and was taken to Jackson Park Hospital and Medical Center.

Their conditions stabilized, police said.

The younger man has documented gang ties, police said.
