Two food delivery drivers are among the victims of an uptick in robberies in August in part of the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side.

The drivers were both robbed this month in the 7000 block of South Perry, according to a statement from Englewood District police.

The suspects are described as two males who are armed with handguns and sometimes wear masks, police said.

Police are urging delivery drivers to travel with a partner, make deliveries in well-lit areas and report any suspicious activity to police.

Anyone with information about the incident should contact Area South detectives at (312) 747-8273.
