A man was shot to death in the West Englewood neighborhood on Friday evening.

The 34-year-old was found outside with multiple gunshot wounds about 5:40 p.m. in the 7000 block of South Honore, police News Affairs Officer Bari Lemmon said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:52 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. His name was withheld pending family notification.

Police said the man had documented gang ties.

The 21-year-old was found in the basement bathroom of a home in the 200 block of West 105th Street with a gunshot wound to the head.
