White Sox third baseman Michael George Olt became the first player in history to hit home runs for the Cubs and the Sox in the same season Wednesday night when he knocked in his first home run against Oakland for the Good Guys on the South Side.
In 17 games this season, Olt boast a .222 BA, three homers and four RBIs. The White Sox claimed him off waivers in early September.
Olt is the 14th player in history to play for both Chicago teams in the same season.

He is just the sixth position player to play for both Chicago teams in the same season and the first to do since 2003 when Josh Paul went from Toronto to the White Sox to the Cubs, according to Yahoo! Sports.
After the game, Olt told MLB.com that it’s an accomplishment he be talking about for years to come.
Yeah, it’s pretty cool. I’m surprised that it hasn’t happened. I guess not a lot of guys get traded over here from the Cubs or the opposite. It was definitely something I’ll be able to tell my kids about down the road.
The Sox would lose the game to the A’s, 4-2.
