A 42-year-old man was stabbed and critically injured in a fight outside a pizzeria in south suburban Oak Forest early Sunday.

The brawl involving at least four people broke out about 2:30 a.m. in the parking lot outside Dream’s Pizzeria Bar & Banquet at 16040 S. Cicero, according to Oak Forest police Sgt. Scott Durano.

The man was stabbed with a knife and taken to a hospital in critical condition, Durano said. A 60-year-old woman was battered and also hospitalized. Her injuries weren’t thought to be life-threatening, police said.

Further details about what spurred the fight weren’t available Sunday morning. No one is in custody as the South Suburban Major Crimes Task force investigates.
