Country music superstar Toby Keith will be joining Chicago blues legend Buddy Guy on the music lineup for Bruce Rauner’s inauguration concert on Jan. 12, 2015 in Springfield.

Tickets for the concert at the Prairie Capital Convention Center are $125 and are available at IllinoisInauguration.com.

According to NBC5chicago.com, Keith, a long-time democrat, openly re-registered himself as an independent in 2008. “It’s strictly [because] my party, that I’ve been affiliated with all these years, doesn’t stand for anything that I stand for anymore,” he told CMT. “They’ve lost any sensibility that they had, and they’ve allowed all the kooks in.”

The concert begins at 8:30 p.m.
