Two men were shot Sunday evening on the South Side, about two blocks south of Chicago Police Department headquarters in Bronzeville.

The shooting happened about 7:30 p.m. in the 3700 block of South Michigan, according to preliminary information from police. CPD headquarters are located at 3510 S. Michigan Ave.

A man shot in the shoulder was taken to Stroger Hospital and another shot in the foot was taken to Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, police said.

Both men are 22, but their conditions and the circumstances of the shooting weren’t immediately known.
