A man was shot near a high school Monday morning in the South Side Bronzeville neighborhood.

The 26-year-old was shot in the shoulder about 11:10 a.m. in the 4900 block of South Langley, police said. It happened across the street from the campus of Hales Franciscan High School at 4930 S. Cottage Grove.

The victim was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.
