Right-hander Jake Petricka pitched one scoreless inning for AAA Charlotte on Thursday night in the first of two expected rehab outings for the White Sox reliever.

Petricka, who had 14 saves to go with a 2.96 ERA as a rookie in 20014, has been on the disabled list with a right forearm strain since April 5 (retroactive to March 27). His last spring outing came on March 23.

Pitching against the host Gwinett Braves, Petricka did not allow a hit and struck out one. He threw 16 pitches, 11 for strikes. He is expected to pitch for Charlotte again on Saturday and will likely be called up to join the Sox next week.

Carlos Rodon started the game for the Knights. The left-hander, drafted third overall last June, gave up three runs on six hits over five innings. Rodon struck out four and walked two.
