Woman shot in Englewood

A woman was shot in the Englewood neighborhood late Friday.

The 20-year-old was walking on the sidewalk about 11 p.m. in the 1100 block of West 72nd Street when she heard gunshots and felt pain, police said.

She took herself to St. Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center with a gunshot wound to her left forearm, police said. Her condition had stabilized.
