A man was shot in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side Wednesday evening.

The 22-year-old was shot in the hip about 6:30 p.m. in the 300 block of East 47th Street, police said.

He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where his condition stabilized, police said.
