An 18-year-old man was shot Thursday night in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

He was outside about 10:40 p.m. near 19th Street and St. Louis Avenue when a black SUV drove by and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition with a gunshot wound to the right hand and a graze wound to the left leg, police said.
