Man shot in West Englewood

A man was shot Friday morning in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 33-year-old was standing outside in the 1200 block of West 71st Street at 10:40 a.m. when a dark car pulled up and two males got out of the backseat, pulled out handguns and opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the abdomen and buttocks and taken in good condition o Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.
