Man shot in Roseland

A 23-year-old man was shot early Sunday in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side.

He was outside about 12:30 a.m. in the 10000 block of South Vernon when two males walked up and opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the right hand and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
