A man was wounded in a shooting in the Back of the Yards neighborhood Monday night.

The 35-year-old was shot in the left leg about 7:55 p.m. in the 900 block of West 50th Street, according to police.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
