A 63-year-old man reported missing for about three weeks from the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side has been found safe.

Larry “Dean” Harris was reported missing from the 2800 block of West Washington Street after he was last heard from June 17, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police. 

Police announced Monday that Harris was found safe.

The man was found unresponsive in an alley in the 10700 block of South Lowe Avenue, police said.
The man suffered head trauma and was pronounced dead at University of Chicago Medical Center, police said.
