Police are searching for a 45-year-old woman who was last seen last week in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

Sherita Martin was last seen July 3 in the area of 64th and Loomis, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

Martin is described as a 5-foot-5, 145-pound black woman with black hair, brown eyes and dark complexion, police said. She has a beauty mark on her chin and a sun tattoo on her shoulder.

She suffers from bipolar disease, police said.
