Several designer handbags were stolen from an upscale department store Wednesday morning in the Gold Coast.

Two males and a female entered Barney’s in the first block of East Oak Street at 10:08 a.m. and stole several designer handbags, according to Chicago Police. The store opens at 10 a.m.

The suspects got into a waiting gray vehicle after the robbery and were last seen heading southbound on Lake Shore Drive, police said.

No one was injured during the robbery, police said. Area Central detectives are investigating.
