A man and a teenage boy were shot Tuesday night in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 30-year-old man and 17-year-old boy were in a red car about 10:10 p.m. traveling south in the 7200 block of South May when someone on the sidewalk started shooting, according to Chicago Police.

The man suffered a gunshot wound to the back and a graze wound to the face and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said. The boy was shot in the neck and taken to Stroger Hospital. Both of their conditions were stabilized.
