26-year-old man shot in leg in Englewood

A 26-year-old man was shot in the leg Wednesday afternoon in the South Side Englewood neighborhood.

The shooting happened in the 7200 block of South Morgan at 2:27 p.m., according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the left leg and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition, police said.

A police source said the man is a documented gang member.
