A 59-year-old man was hospitalized in serious condition after being found shot in the neck around 11:20 p.m. Wednesday on a porch in the 7700 block of South Homan Avenue in Ashburn on the Southwest Side, according to police.

They said he was being treated at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
