Police are warning West Side residents of four apartment burglaries in the Austin neighborhood in the last month.

In each case, someone forced open the back door of an apartment and stole property from inside, according to the community alert from Area North detectives.

The burglaries happened:

  • about 10:30 a.m. June 21 in the 300 block of North Menard;
  • at an unknown time between June 20 and 21 in the 400 block of North Waller;
  • at an unknown time between June 27 and 30 in the 100 block of North Mason; and
  • between 2 p.m. and 9:20 p.m. July 2 in the 100 block of North Waller.
