Police are warning residents after computers and TVs were stolen in a series of Chatham neighborhood burglaries over the past month on the South Side.

In each incident, someone forced entry through a rear apartment door before taking computers, TVs and other property from within, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

The break-ins happened:

  • In the 8200 block of South Ingleside in the early afternoon of June 17;
  • In the 8100 block of South Drexel in the early evening of July 2; and
  • In the 8200 block of South Ingleside in the early afternoon to late evening of July 3.
