A 36-year-old woman was shot in her left foot around 11:30 p.m. Thursday as she was getting in to a vehicle in the 6100 block of South Indiana Avenue in Washington Park on the South Side, according to the police.

They said she was able to drive herself to the University of Chicago Medical Center.

The man was found unresponsive in an alley in the 10700 block of South Lowe Avenue, police said.
